WHO IS THE IDEAL CLIENT FOR THE GROUP?
The ideal client is any adult male whose anger issues have negatively impacted their relationships and may have led to criminal charges or convictions. Those who struggle with difficult emotions, lack effective communications skills and healthy conflict resolution, and those who face challenges in maintaining healthy relationships.
WHY ATTEND THE GROUP?
When aggressive behaviors have started causing significant consequences and when actions have severely damaged relationships or resulted in legal issues. Often this results in feelings of guilt, shame, and being out of control. There is an urgent need to change due to these painful consequences.
WHERE WILL YOU BE AFTER THE GROUP?
The desired outcome is to have gained effective anger management tools, healthy communication and conflict resolution skills, as well as to gain an in-depth understanding of why one is struggling with anger. At the end of group, it is my hope that participants will feel proud of themselves and of how they interact within their relationships.
The Facilitator
Randi Gabruck helps adult men, whose anger issues have adversely affected their relationships and who may face legal consequences, to go from feeling out of control, ashamed, and disconnected to effectively managing their emotions and communicating in healthy ways. She empowers men to show up proudly and in control in their relationships, significantly reducing the possibility of domestic violence.
A letter of completion will be provided at the end of group. This will describe your level of participation and any future recommendations. If court-ordered, your probation officer will also receive a copy if required.
